The Tirana Vertical Forest project has been awarded at the XXIII Concorso Internazionale d’Autore, the international architecture competition promoted by METRA.
Selected from over 125 projects worldwide, the building received recognition in the category “Best New Construction – Tertiary Sector.” The project was designed by Stefano Boeri Architetti, with ALCA responsible for the façade engineering, manufacturing, and installation.
The development represents an innovative approach to urban reforestation, integrating more than 10 trees and over 3.500 plants directly into the façade system. The concept contributes to improving air quality, enhancing building energy performance, and creating a new urban ecosystem within the city.

This recognition highlights the collaboration between architects, engineers, and façade specialists in delivering technically complex building envelopes that support both architectural vision and environmental performance.
