History
Since its founding in 2001, ALCA has grown alongside the development of Albania’s construction industry. The milestones below trace the company’s evolution — from its early projects to becoming a leading partner for complex façade systems.
2001
Where It Started
ALCA begins in a small workshop along the banks of the Lana River in Tirana, focused primarily on doors and windows. The company builds its reputation on craftsmanship, reliability, and technical discipline — project by project.
2003
Raising the Standard
A strategic partnership with METRA introduces higher technical standards and stronger system integration. Shortly after, ALCA starts operating in Italy as a subcontractor for major façade groups, gaining exposure to more complex construction environments.
2005
Building Our Own Home
With growing ambition, ALCA invests in the construction of its current headquarters and production facility. Engineering and manufacturing capabilities expand, preparing the company for larger-scale challenges.
2008
The Shift to Curtain Walls
The joint venture with AZA Corp for the ABA Business Center marks a decisive turning point. Delivering the façade of what was then the tallest tower in Albania pushes ALCA beyond doors and windows into full curtain wall systems — reshaping the company’s technical focus and long-term positioning.
2015–20
Industrial Evolution
Targeted investments in CNC machinery, advanced equipment, and production processes transform the company into a more industrialized and technically structured organization.
2020-25
Defining the Skyline
A phase of accelerated growth and landmark projects. ALCA contributes to developments such as Tirana’s Rock by MVRDV, Tirana Vertical Forest by Stefano Boeri Architetti, and Ekspozita Building by MCA Architects, strengthening its position as market leader in Albania.
