ALCA has been awarded the façade works for the National Art Gallery of Tirana, the country’s main institution dedicated to visual arts since its establishment in 1956.
The project includes the development of a new extension to the gallery, as well as façade works on the existing building. The intervention will expand the institution while maintaining its connection to the historic structure.

The new volume has been designed by Atelier4 and developed by 4 A-M. A bridge element will link the extension to the original building, creating a physical and architectural connection between the existing structure and the new gallery spaces.

Through this intervention, the National Art Gallery will gain additional exhibition and public areas, strengthening its role as one of Albania’s key cultural landmarks.
ALCA will be responsible for the façade engineering, manufacturing, and installation of the building envelope.
